Our approach
Shade is first and foremost an energy decision
Although sun control may look like a comfort choice, it directly affects the energy a building consumes throughout the year. The three pillars of this centre:
Stopping heat before it reaches the glass
An indoor blind reduces glare but does not send the heat back out. External shading blocks the light before it reaches the glass, so the cooling load is limited from the start.
Because movable systems can be adjusted to the season, they block the steep sunlight in summer while letting the low-angle light in during winter.
Separable components
The aluminium profile can be recycled at the end of its life; because the fabric can be replaced on its own, there is no need to renew the entire system.
Long life, low impact
Correct installation and regular maintenance extend the replacement interval. The most sustainable product is the one that does not need replacing.
